New At the Drugstore: L'Oreal Pro Matte Gloss

L'Oreal Pro Matte Gloss Bare Attraction

Hi guys!!! It feels like forever since I've sat down and wrote anything on here, but I've recently been re-inspired because there have been a TON of makeup launches at the drugstore and at Sephora  and I want to try everything that my bank account will let me.

If you watch YouTube then you've probably seen the new L'Oreal Pro Matte Glosses hauled in just about every beauty blogging related video lately. After seeing Tati from GlamLifeGuru swatch all of them and rave about them, I knew I had to try them out! I'll link her swatch video here because she is the Queen.

I picked up the lightest shade in the range called "Bare Attraction". It's definitely a peachy nude and unfortunately isn't the most flattering on my pale skin (it looks so much better on Tati!!!), but I know that when I'm self-tanned I'll be wearing it a ton.

The main things you need to know about this product are in the name: it applies like a gloss, feels like a gloss, but is completely matte. It's actually pretty unusual but I'm loving it. If you want this thinking it will be a drugstore version of a liquid lipstick, it definitely isn't. It doesn't dry down, it remains "wet" for lack of a better word on your lips, it transfers, and it isn't very long lasting... but you can't take points off for that because it doesn't claim to be a liquid lipstick.

I'm babbling as always but all in all I love this product. They are super comfortable, decently hydrating, and perfect for days I want a matte lip (every day) but don't want to deal with the dryness. They won't last through a meal, but they do wear off evenly! This is the lightest colour in the range, and most of the shades are ones I don't typically go for on a day to day basis, but I would buy 20 more if they did!

Have you tried these yet?!
